lightening” at a long singles competition field trial picnic in
eastern Idaho in 2002. She has hunted and pointed an above
average number of wild upland (ring-necked pheasant, Hungarian
partridge, sharp-tailed grouse, blue grouse, sage grouse, chukar) as
well as retrieved 529 geese and a considerable share of ducks and doves. Even though she has a tremendous
amount of desire and speed while hunting, and is a joy to hunt and train
with, she nevertheless loves the “human touch”, and takes immense
pleasure in a good old belly-rub coupled with joyful expressions of
